As an experienced cosmetic dentist, we make it possible for our patients to have the beautiful smile they have always wanted using a variety of modern dental techniques. Dr. Nolan is committed to high-quality patient care and works to ensure that patients are comfortable during their procedures and delighted with the results.

Dr. Nolan takes the time to get to know each patient and the goals that they have for their smile. This often involves correcting a problem with how a particular tooth, or teeth, appear. Even people with severe stains, crooked, damaged teeth, and gaps can experience the stunning transformations available when working with Dr. Nolan.

Here are just a few of the cosmetic treatment options we offer:

  • Bonding – Bonding is an alternative to veneers and can be used as a restorative procedure. The tooth is prepared for the procedure by lightly etching the surface and applying a bonding liquid. Once the liquid sets, a plastic resin is applied and sculpted into the desired shape. Once set, the resin is trimmed, smoothed and polished to a natural appearance.
  • Veneers – A veneer is a thin shell that is made out of porcelain or ceramic. The shade of the veneer, along with its shape and size will be made to match your surrounding teeth so that it blends in perfectly. By placing them on top of the teeth, we can close gaps, make teeth even in length, cover dark stains and create a uniform smile.
  • Crowns – Fitting a crown only requires one visit in our office! We use a high-grade porcelain with a very long history of strength, success, and longevity. The procedure entails removal of decay and shaping the tooth. Then a digital impression is taken. After we design the crown, it will be placed in your mouth. After any necessary adjustments are made, we will add a final polish and glaze on the crown. The whole process takes about 1.5-2 hours.
  • Inlays and Onlays – When more than half of the tooth’s biting surface is damaged, a Dr. Nolan will often use an inlay or onlay. Inlays and onlays can be made of porcelain, gold, or composite resin. These pieces are bonded to the damaged area of the tooth. An inlay, which is similar to a filling, is used inside the cusp tips of the tooth. An onlay is a more substantial reconstruction, similar to the inlay but extending out over one or more of the cusps of the tooth.
